I was born in 1979 in Iran-Tehran. My father was really interested in Iranian traditional music, because of that he encouraged me to start learning music at the age of 12. I started learning music with playing the Santoor (Iranian traditional instrument [kind of Dulsimer]) at the age of 12 with Mr. Aliasghar Bahrami.
After five years, I continued my training with Master Pashang Kamkar for 2 years.
During this period of time I was extremely fascinated by composition. I composed my first piece for Santoor in1997 when I was 17.
When I was ending high school, I decided to choose music as my major. In other words I wanted to be a professional musician. I accepted in entrance examination in music at university of Tehran in 1999.
I was a trainee in Master Majid Kiani’s classes in Radif.( Iranian Traditional Music)
At the same time, I started to teach music and holding a concert.
In addition I was a trainee in Mr.Kambiz Roshanravan’s classes in Harmony, Counterpoint and orchestration for 3 years.
A few years later, I decided to pursue my education. I gained first rank in the master’s degree entrance exam in year 2010.
I graduated in master of composition at the University of Tehran in 2013.
After my graduation, I have done a variety of professional works such as: teaching music, composing music and held a concert. Furthermore, I’ve published 1 music album and 4 specialist books in my major.
